528eeb4e9f3240 The film is based on a true story of a young girl who was born in Qatar and raised in the United Arab Emirates with her Pakistani parents.
On the eve of her 18th birthday, she is forced to return to Qatar due not just to a country-specific law prohibiting an unlawful person from entering the emirate but because it is too dangerous for her to stay there under what authorities perceive as suspicious circumstances.
In order for this "unlawful" person from another country to live there without being subject to prosecution, she must marry someone in Doha.
A series of events unfold that lead to the girl falling in love with her older husband's youngest son, who is exactly her age, with the two of them spending almost every moment together.
However, their happiness is short-lived when his father discovers their romance and confronts them one night with his gun.
